I often say that students should be "engaged" in their learning. So should I! Learning should be fun. We should all remember that absolute joy we felt as toddlers as we began to explore the world around us. Let's capture that spirit of WOW in what we have to learn now as well. The real story behind Presidents Day
Most of assume, and this includes me, that today's national holiday, Presidents Day, is meant to celebrate both Washington's and Lincoln's birthdays. But we're wrong.
It was not patriotism or gratitude to popular presidents that set up this holiday, but retailing. Read on to get the real story:
